Did you get a chance to read our last blog yet? If you did, then you already know how to properly clean your used paintball gun. Cleaning your marker regularly is just one of the many things that you should do to keep it in good working order. You should also make sure that you lubricate it. Unfortunately, lubricating your paintball marker isn't as easy as buying some grease and lubing it up, and there is a wrong way to do it. The following list of tips will help you to learn how to lubricate your marker the right way:

  • Read your manual - Some markers require grease, while others may require oil. Your manual will also be able to tell you how often you should lubricate your marker, because they are all different, and some may require lubricating everyday that you use it, while others will only need to be lubricated after a few thousand shots.
  • Use the right kind of oil - Don't try to skimp and use other kinds of oil. Only use oil that is made for paintball markers. If you use the wrong oil, you could damage the O-rings in your marker.
  • Don't use too much oil - You should use only enough oil or grease to coat the seals in your marker. If you end up using too much, the excess oil will quickly start to collect dirt and grime.

Lubricating your marker will help to improve its accuracy and efficiency. Cleaning and lubricating your marker are very important for keeping it in a good working order, but there are a couple more things that you should do. Learn more by staying tuned for our next blog!
